I represent a small company from Brazil , Rubrarosa, designing and manufacturing children clothes using organic natural colored cotton.

RUBRAROSA is a registered company founded by a young designer and is part of a co-operative known as Algodao Colorido Natural. This co-operative belongs to the State of Paraiba, Brazil and has the backing of the CINEP (Indigene centre for studies and research) an institution that supports local micro-industries in the county of Paraiba. They have actively supported these micro-industries on the manufacture of goods using local produced organic cotton.

The Algodao Colorido Natural is a co-operative involving 5 micro-industry manufacturing female, male, children, bags and shoes fashion. All the items in the co-operative collection are made of jersey or natural weaved cotton. They already export to a number of countries including France, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Ireland and Chile.

The collection was inspired on the Brazilian culture focusing on the Northeast region, using painting, embroidering and ‘Renascença’ laces which is typical hand lace made by craftsman from the dry regions of Paraiba, northeast Brazil. The embroidering and laces are done by local inmates to help them integrate to the society.

Hello Tony, my name is Kylie and I'm the owner/designer of Cackleberry Kids. We are an Australian company and we use a range of Organic Cotton for our new t-shirt line. This particular organic cotton is also made in Australia.

To compliment our clothing, we also have a range of Nursery linen, again all made in Australia from 100% homespun cotton, with our comfortor being padded in 50% cotton and 50% bamboo.

Dear Tony

I represent a SME company from Northeast Brazil specialising in children clothes made from naturally coloured cotton from ages 0-10 years old. They share a website with another company, www.franciscavieira.com.br, please visit the site to browse their children clothes collection. The cotton they use is produced locally by a small CO-OP supporting 5 SMEs and is organically grown and uses no artificial dyes in their processing. In some of their designs they use hand embroidered to help poor local communities and hence their production is small. I can send you a powerpoint presentation for the children collection or see some of the photos in my page to check some for their designs.
