Quagmire WellieBag has not received any gifts yet
First designed in 1999, The Quagmire WellieBag was granted it's patent in 2002 when wellie bags were thin on the ground and particularly dull and boring. Most of them were green or black and were impossible for kids to use owing to their zip operation being confined to the spine. We wanted to design a child-friendly bag that kept the principle of a top-functioning bag whilst still retaining a broad boot shape. This was made possible with a trapezoid…

They say the world's getting wetter and if you know anything about the UK, you'll see some truth in the observation. By the same token our lives are having to speed up as we work harder, longer and as a consequence we have become 'time poor' as busy mums. Thankfully, we now enjoy a plethora of good design, especially within the kids market and this includes bags of all kinds. They ease the congestion of our daily lives and thats why I designed The Quagmire WellieBag. for Kids. Keeping our…

Moving forward with a new brand name is every manufacturer/designers challenge. Having got my patented WellieBag product to market and successfully stocked alongside top brands, I must now move forward and sell to the world. From a design concept on paper through to boxes full of bags shipped across the world, the process has been as nail-biting as it is exciting. The WellieBag is indispensable to a modern mum's life. I've known it to be used for a multitude of things ranging from beautiful…

Been a while, been swamped with work as I'm trying to revive my website. I'm personally building it this time around with a tool I'm still trying to get used to so it's taking a bit of time and this is the also the time to move stock into the stores for our winter season.
I have been thinking about the best approach and find that I don't have all the answers. I would rather you give send me your catalogue/pricelist to my email address info@babybobo.co.za for distribution and we can maybe arrange for you to send me a sample and take it from them. My thinking was for you to name your price to me and quanity minimums as well as suggested retail price so I can check whether I'll be able to move your product in SA. I believe in starting small so I will not be in a position to take on very high quanities at this stage. Maybe start marketing the product and get pre-orders. We just need to decide how much time to specify for delivery date. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for your message, I love your welliebag, tell me more. I'd like to offer my wholesale additional stuff from what I'm currently supplying (clothing 0 - 4). My 3 year old just started pre-school and the school doens't want rag-sacks with animated characters eg. spiderman etc. We struggled to find an appropriate one. So can you send more photos of your bag, maybe I can market it for you to some boutiques or agents. I'm only just starting to supply to independent agents/without stores because the market here is a little slow with at the moment, kids stores are struggling to move products so finding agents is a solution for product more movement as well as empowering other mums. What do you think? Let me know if you would prefer to keep it in boutiques only or agents as well. I think you've got a great product.
